Teens 2 Trades Partners with D&B Supply on Tool Grant Program
We’re proud to announce the launch of the Teens 2 Trades Tool Grant Program, in partnership with D&B Supply. Teens 2 Trades is a nonprofit dedicated to giving Idaho students a clear path to high- demand careers in the trades. One of the biggest barriers for entry?
The cost of essential tools. That’s where this grant steps in. Founded in 1959 in Caldwell, Idaho, D&B Supply has grown into a trusted one-stop shop for hardworking folks across the state— offering top-tier tools and unbeatable service. Recognizing the need, D&B Supply has teamed up with Teens 2 Trades to empower Idaho’s future workforce.
Here’s how it works: Idaho teens can apply for a $500 Tool Grant through the Teens 2 Trades website. Selected recipients will receive a grant to spend at their local D&B Supply store—putting it toward the tools they need to launch their trade careers. With generous support and exclusive discounts from DeWalt and D&B Supply, that $500 goes even further—equipping each student with high-quality tools built to last.

What is Teens 2 Trades?
Teens 2 Trades is on a mission to connect Idaho’s youth with trade companies within our state. These trades include: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, welding and more.
In collaboration
In collaboration with the College of Western Idaho and in alignment with the Idaho Launch Initiative, Teens 2 Trades extends its support by providing scholarships and a well-defined career pathway within the trades.
Grants & Scholarships
Idaho Launch
Idaho Launch, a state of Idaho grant program, offers students an exceptional opportunity, covering 80% of their tuition and fees at eligible educational institutions up to a maximum of $8,000.
Teens 2 Trades
Teens 2 Trades has partnered with CWI to offer additional scholarships for students. They will receive up to a $5,000 grant that can be used for books, tools, supplies, or any other expenses to enhance their college experience.
Apply for a scholarship
Scholarships are available for students based on a variety of criteria such as: fields of study, members of underrepresented groups, residency in certain areas, and demonstrated financial need. T2T scholarship money can also be applied towards tuition.

Golf Tournament
Purchase a Teens 2 Trades golf tournament sponsorship and help support Idaho's youth. Teens 2 Trades scholarships will provide the opportunity to build a lifetime career in the trades for many.
